These terms apply to the hosted ROSS beta operated by Abhi Ranade. By creating an account or using it, you accept these terms, the acceptable-use rules, and the privacy notice.
You need a verified account. Confidential or privileged use is at your own risk. There is no promise of continuous service or data recovery.

ROSS is an evolving beta for lawful professional use. Give accurate account information, protect your login, and manage your own provider accounts, settings, and charges. ROSS sends relevant information to the services you choose so they can perform requested functions. The operator may change or stop beta features, or suspend access when needed to protect people, sources, providers, or the service.

Before using confidential or privileged information, make sure you are authorized to do so and review each provider's terms, privacy practices, retention, training, human-review, security, and disclosure settings. You are responsible for meeting duties to clients and the court. You must also check sources, dates, treatment, calculations, deadlines, and all generated work.

ROSS is software. It is not a lawyer, law firm, court, government service, complete citator, or substitute for professional judgment. To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided as available without promises about uptime, accuracy, fitness for a purpose, complete sources, backup, or recovery. Keep your own copies. These terms do not exclude liability that the law does not allow to be excluded. Ontario law applies, and disputes are subject to the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Repository use is governed by AGPL-3.0 and applicable notices. These hosted-service terms do not remove recipients’ code-licence rights. Support, privacy, accessibility, and non-security complaints may be sent to abhi@soundmarklaw.com; security-sensitive details belong in private GitHub vulnerability reporting.
